You deserve simple answers, clear direction, and a plan that makes sense for you — no guessing, no confusion.

Common Concerns
Worried about cracking? Don’t be. Chiropractic care here is always a conversation. We won’t jump straight to adjustments — many clients don’t get them at all. We’ll talk about what feels right, explain your options, and make a plan together. Adjustments are just one tool, not the whole toolbox. We get that chiropractic care can feel confusing. Mixed messages and gimmicks have made people unsure who to trust. Some worry care plans are about business, not what’s best for them. Others are turned off by jargon or bold claims. At Foundation Rehab, our approach is simple and honest. No gimmicks — just clear support, hands-on care, and teamwork with your other providers to help you move better and feel stronger.
Iain Harrington

Chiropractor
Area of Expertise
Arthritis | Concussion | Low back pain
Iain knows what it’s like to face an injury and not know who to trust or what to do next. At 23, he tore his meniscus and was told to avoid activity to protect his knee for the future — advice that didn’t sit right with him. It turns out, it wasn’t backed by science either. Now, every day in the clinic, Iain meets people who have been told to give up the activities they love. His mission is to help change that story.

Iain’s journey began at Vancouver Island University, where he earned a degree in Sport Health and Physical Education while competing on the men's varsity volleyball team. He later completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has spent over 15 years in the health and fitness field. Before becoming a chiropractor, Iain worked as a wildfire firefighter based out of Nelson, BC — an experience that shaped his resilience, problem-solving skills, and drive to stay strong under pressure.

Today, Iain’s clinical focus includes spinal pain (neck and low back), concussion rehabilitation, and osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. He continues to grow his expertise with additional certifications in Public Health (Imperial College London), Motivational Interviewing, and the Calibre Program from Obesity Canada. His approach is evidence-based, movement-focused, and built around helping patients stay active, confident, and in control of their health — without fear.

Iain loves working with people who are ready to invest in real, lasting change — those willing to put in the work to improve their health and recovery. Outside of the clinic, he’s a long-distance trail runner, ultra-endurance racer, mountain biker, skier, and proud pickleball league player. Iain feels most at home when he’s moving through the rugged trails, mountains, and coastlines of mid- to north Vancouver Island.
