Area of Expertise
Hand Therapy

Brianne is the first Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist to join the team at Foundation Rehab! She is passionate about working in upper limb rehabilitation and brings 10 years of experience working as a hand therapist on Vancouver Island.

Brianne grew up in the Fraser Valley, completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UNBC in Prince George and worked as a rehabilitation assistant at a hand therapy clinic in the lower mainland where she discovered her passion for hands. She then moved to Australia to complete her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney, and after a few years of returning to work in the city, she made the move to Campbell River in 2015 with her husband. As an outdoor enthusiast, she fell in love with the ocean, mountains, lakes and rivers and the limitless recreational opportunities available on North Vancouver Island.

With her specialty in Hand Therapy, she treats injuries and conditions involving the fingers, thumb, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder. Brianne is experienced in treating various injuries including fractures, dislocations, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, repetitive strain injuries, burns, post-surgical and traumatic injuries and post-stroke complications. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercises, splinting, scar management, edema control, pain management and education to provide client-centered care to get you back to doing what you love.

Outside of work, you'll find Brianne spending time outdoors with her two young sons, hiking, camping, biking, paddle boarding, throwing some heavy weights around at the gym and attempting to grow food in her garden.

Feel supported, learn about yourself, and start moving forward — at your own pace.

You don’t have to do this alone.
